The above video, Female Eye in Color, is now available in a 25 minute DVD. The demonstration is done with voice instructions and a list of materials needed to practice drawing the female eye. You will find this helpful in learning the steps to drawing lifelike eyes that capture light and personality.
Homer the Cat was developed by applying bold layers of Prismacolor pencils then blending the layers with solvent. Solvent melts the wax and leaves only the pigment, creating a soft look. This step may be repeated two or three times until the desired hues and values are attained. Detail is added with Prismacolor pencils to finish the work.
This technique is taught in class level 3.
